Each pack contains 50 bulbs:

• 35 Allium sphaerocephalon – also known as round-headed allium, producing compact rounded flower heads on slender stems. This later-flowering variety provides valuable summer interest and can reach around 90cm under suitable conditions.
• 5 Allium atropurpureum – an elegant ornamental allium reaching approximately 75cm, ideal for adding height and structure to sunny borders.
• 5 Allium cristophii – commonly known as Star of Persia, producing impressive spherical flower heads composed of numerous star-shaped blooms. It typically reaches around 60cm.
• 5 Allium ‘Purple Sensation’ – one of the best-known ornamental alliums, producing rounded flower heads on upright stems and growing approximately 50–100cm tall.

Planting Your Allium Bulbs

For best results, plant allium bulbs in autumn in a sunny position with fertile, well-drained soil. Avoid sites that remain wet or waterlogged during winter.

Planting in groups will create the strongest visual impact, while scattering smaller groups throughout a border can produce a more natural appearance.

Allow the foliage to die back naturally after flowering so that energy can return to the bulbs for the following year's growth.
